We are so proud of each and every one of our students who participated in this year's World Scholar's Cup. The College had the biggest group of enthusiastic students involved from any school (81). We had teams compete in the Regional, Global and even Tournament of Champions rounds of the event. Amongst many amazing achievements, some of the highlights from each event are listed below:

PERTH ROUND

  • Gemma Nunn, Sonia Orellana Badilla and Ashley-Rose Luu (Year 9) - 1st overall in the Junior category
  • Ash Humski, Emily Logan and Eliza Boylen (Year 10) - 1st overall in the Senior category
  • Chenoa Mason, Christopher Baker and Madeleine Budas (Year 11) - 2nd overall in the Senior category

 

GLOBAL ROUND (Bangkok, Thailand)

  • Gemma Nunn, Sonia Orellana Badilla and Ashley-Rose Luu (Year 9) - 8th overall in the Junior category
  • Sonia Orellana Badilla (Year 9) - 3rd overall out of 1,000 students!
  • Ash Humski, Emily Logan and Eliza Boylen (Year 10) - 3rd overall in the Senior category
  • Ash Humski (Year 10) - 1st overall out of 1,000 students in the Writing category!

 

TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS (Yale University, United States of America)

  • Sonia Orellana Badilla (Year 9) - 9th overall in the Junior category
  • Gemma Nunn, Sonia Orellana Badilla and Ashley-Rose Luu (Year 9) - 2nd overall in Writing
  • Emily Logan (Year 10) - 1st in the History category of the Seniors competition!
