Concessions
The tuition fees of younger students of a family in attendance at Sacred Heart College will be reduced by:-
10% for the second child
20% for the third and subsequent children
The College is able to offer additional concessions to holders of a Health Care Card except those issued with code ‘MOB’. Holders of Pensioner Concession Cards with code ‘PPS’ also qualify for the discount. The maximum tuition fee payable is $1080.00 per annum. All other charges apply.
Payment of Accounts
One annual account will be issued to families. Fees are payable on receipt of this account.
Parents who wish to discuss alternative fee arrangements are to telephone Sharon Quinn - Accounts Administrator on 9246 8208 or Steve Cooper - Business Manager on 9246 8268 within 7 days of the account being received.
The College provides many alternatives for the payment of fees which include, Direct Debit, Credit Card (Visa or Mastercard only) and BPay. The College does not charge any fees for use of credit card.
In cases of extreme financial hardship parents should arrange an appointment with the Principal to discuss fees.
Where parents have ignored all reasonable attempts to negotiate a fee repayment strategy legal action may be initiated.
Parents & Friends Association
The Parents and Friends Association has an active role in fund raising for school amenities and teaching equipment. A levy of $80.00 per family is added to the school account.
Building Levy
Commecing in 2009 The Board of Management has introduced a compulsory levy of $350 per family. The levy will in part contribute to the debt servicing of the College's existing and future building loans. This levy is not tax-deductible.
Building Fund
The Board of Management established a Building Fund in 1984 to receive voluntary donations which can be claimed as a tax deduction. This donation is additional to the Building Levy.
Application for Admission
The completion and return of the Application for Admission form together with the Application Fee, registers your interest in having your child considered for enrolment at Sacred Heart College. The Application Fee is payable once only and is not refundable.

Enrolment Acceptance Fee
An enrolment acceptance fee of $200.00 is payable on confirmation of a student’s placement at the College.
Withdrawal of Student
A full term’s notice in writing must be given to the Principal before the removal of a student. Failure to give such notice will involve the payment of a half semester tuition fee where applicable, irrespective of the date the student may leave during the semester.
Insurance
The Board of Management has a Schoolcare Personal Accident policy with Catholic Church Insurances (CCI) to cover students for accidental injuries occurring during school activities only. A fee of $7.35 for each student is charged on the annual fee account. Please note, general insurance companies such as CCI are prohibited by law from covering the cost of any medical service for which a Medicare benefit is payable (including any gap). The College cannot accept responsibility for loss of or damage to personal effects and property, or liability incurred by students for property damage.
