English – Full time, Ongoing commencing 2010The successful applicant must be qualified to teach English from Years 7 to 12. The ability to teach Year 12 Stage 3 English and Religious Education will be an advantage but not essential. The preferred candidate will be required to work in a team environment and be committed to student-centred learning techniques. It is also required that the successful applicant take on the responsibility of a Form teacher and be involved in the co-curricular activities of the College. Applicants must complete the Application Form, including the names and contact details of three referees and submit this information by 5.00pm Wednesday 28 October.
General Information for Applicants Applicants must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education and be involved in co-curricular activities as part of general duties. In general, applicants who are qualified to teach Religious Education will be advantaged for the above teaching position. The successful applicant must be eligible for membership to the Western Australian College of Teaching and have a current Working With Children check. If you provide us with personal information, for example your name and address or information contained on your resume, we will collect the information in order to assess your application. 3. You may seek access to your personal information that we hold about you if you are unsuccessful for the position. However, there may be occasions when access is denied. Such occasions would include where access would have an unreasonable impact on the privacy of others. 4. We will not disclose this information to a third party without your consent. 5.
