This week is National Homelessness Week, coordinated by Homelessness Australia with this week's theme being "Ending Homelessness Together".

In keeping with this theme, our Children, Family and Community ATAR class has been learning all about the causes and prevalence of homelessness and, along with the General class, we are looking into what we can do to help end homelessness in Australia. We have decided to help homeless teenage girls by providing backpacks filled with basic necessities and a few luxury items that teenage girls, like us, use on a daily basis. We hope we can help someone in need and make them feel valued.
