The ACC 'A' Division Athletics Carnival was a tremendous success for our College, with outstanding achievements across all age groups. Our athletes won five of the seven shields, including Junior Girls, Senior Girls, Overall Girls, Junior Boys and the Overall Aggregate - finishing 190 points ahead of John XXIII College. The day featured outstanding relay performances and a remarkable team effort from all students. We had a very impressive amount of students finish in the top two of their event.
Notable record achievements include Meg Connolly (Year 9 Hannan) setting new records in the U15 T20 1500m and 800m events; Emilia Reed (Year 9 Normandy) breaking a 15-year ACC record with a time of 11.90s in the U15 100m; and the Girls U15 4x100m Relay team - Nadija Stojkovski (Year 9 Carden), Bethany Georgiu (Year 9 Hannan), Ruby Zuchetti (Year 9 Normandy) and Emilia Reed (Year 9 Normandy) setting a new record of 50.30s.
