Last week, Mrs Jane Oliver (Education Assistant) and Mr Leo Di Gregorio (Principal) were honoured for their longstanding dedication to Catholic Education WA. Mrs Oliver was celebrated for 30 years of service, while Mr Di Gregorio reached an impressive 40 years.


Mrs Oliver has been a cherished member of our College for the past 7 years. She brings warmth, care and a genuine dedication to the wellbeing of our students, earning the affection and respect of both students and staff. Known for her willingness to go above and beyond, Jane is an invaluable part of our community. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to her for her unwavering commitment to Sacred Heart and Catholic Education WA.


Mr Di Gregorio’s influence spans several school communities across WA. Starting as a Science and Chemistry teacher, he built a reputation for his dedication to student learning and engagement. His expertise in Chemistry made a lasting impact, helping students grasp challenging concepts and achieve academic success. His experience and skill in teaching have laid the foundation for his successful leadership in numerous Catholic schools.


Mr Di Gregorio’s leadership journey includes 10 years as Deputy Principal at Sacred Heart College, where he managed daily school operations and supported the growth of both students and staff. Later, as Principal of Emmanuel Catholic College from 2014 to 2021, he spearheaded significant developments, including state-of-the-art facilities and led the school through a period of growth and success. His dedication to holistic education, Catholic values, and fostering a positive school community ensures students are empowered to thrive. In every role, his focus has remained on nurturing environments where students can grow and make meaningful contributions to society.
