Vacancy: Health and Physical Education Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and highly engaging Health and Physical Education Teacher to join our College. This is a full-time, ongoing position commencing Term 1, 2026.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Demonstrated ability to teach Health and Physical Education ATAR to Years 11 and 12 students.
  • Proven capability to deliver engaging and effective Health and Physical Education programs for students in Years 7-10.
  • A commitment to promoting and upholding a culture of excellence within the Health and Physical Education Learning Area.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in implementing differentiated teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Capacity to effectively lead and manage a Pastoral Care Group (PCG), supporting the wellbeing and development of all students.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build positive, respectful relationships with students, parents/caregivers and all members of the College community.

What we are seeking:

  • Proven ability to teach Health and Physical Education ATAR to students in Years 11 and 12.
  • Proven ability to teach Health and Physical Education to students in Years 7-10.
  • Demonstrated capacity to contribute effectively and collaboratively within a dynamic and professional HPE team environment.
  • Experience in designing and delivering differentiated units of work that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced educational setting with shifting priorities and demands.
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of the current Western Australian Curriculum to develop meaningful and measurable learning outcomes.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills to coordinate and support the College’s wide range of sporting programs and competitions.
  • Willing and active participation in the College’s extracurricular activities, contributing to the broader life of the school community.
  • An understanding and appreciation of the Catholic ethos, and a willingness to contribute positively to the faith-based environment of the College.

  • Current ‘F’ bus licence

  • Current Bronze Medallion

  • Current First Aid Certificate
