Dancers Impress at School to Stage

Congratulations to all of our Dance students who delivered outstanding performances at the School To Stage dance competition over the weekend. More than 150 Sacred Heart students proudly represented the College across 10 routines, showcasing their talent, dedication and passion for dance. Their hard work was rewarded with an impressive eight trophies, a fantastic achievement for everyone involved.

🥇 Year 8 Dance team - 1st place in Year 8 Jazz
🥇 Year 10 Class - 1st place in Years 9/10 Contemporary
🥇 Year 10 Dance Team - 1st place in Year 10 Jazz
🥇 Senior Dance Team - 1st place in Years 7-12 Jazz Large Group
🥇 SHC Dance Company - 1st place in Years 7-12 Anything Goes
🥉 Boys Crew - 3rd place in Years 9/10 Hip Hop
🥉 Years 11/12 ATAR Class - 3rd place in Year 12 Jazz
✨ While the Years 11/12 General and Year 9 Dance teams didn't place, their performance was equally outstanding amongst very strong competition.

Our community have the opportunity to see these award winning performances, as well as other classwork, group and solo performances, at our Dance Showcase: Resonance on Thursday 27 August (Week 6). More information about this event, including tickets, will be available next week. Well done!
