Excellent Results at the Perth Round of the World Scholar's Cup
By Mrs Tanya Atherton - Head of Gifted and Talented
Last weekend, we hosted the Perth Round of the World Scholar's Cup. Sacred Heart College was the biggest delegation with 141 students competing from our school. A total of 17 schools were represented includingĀ John XXIII College, Newman College, Scotch College, Penrhos College, Presbyterian Ladies College, Shenton College, Mater Dei College, Aquinas, Perth College, Kinross College, Kelmscott Secondary High School and a few smaller delegations. As hosts on the Friday, we welcomed (and fed) 580 students and 70 teachers.
Students debated, wrote and completedĀ extremely difficult challenge papers. This could not have taken place or been possible without the many helpers from the Sacred Heart community - thank you!
