Beyond the actual competition, students also had the opportunity to visit some key cultural and tourist sites around Shanghai, including Confucius Temple, the Bund and a history museum. They also enjoyed a Global Round favourite, the Cultural Fair, where they traded Tim Tams, Vegemite and Australian souvenirs with snacks and goods bought in by participants from other countries.
Many thanks to the parents/caregivers who supported their children in attending the trip and to Mrs Atherton, Mr Byrne, Mrs Carrick and Mrs Traeger who took time out of their own busy schedules to accompany the students on the trip. GO HEARTS!
